Riding a two-game winning streak, the Golden State Warriors started out ice cold on Tuesday night against the Portland Trail Blazers. Behind Damian Lillard and Jerami Grant, the Blazers cruised to a commanding lead over the Warriors on Tuesday night at Chase Center.
As the Warriors looked to be headed towards a loss, the Blazers increased their lead to as much as 23 points. However, it wasn’t enough. After a vintage third-quarter run sparked a comeback, the Warriors never looked back.
Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole combined for 24 points in the third quarter as the Warriors outscored the Trail Blazers 39-17.
Following their emphatic third-quarter performance, the Warriors were able to complete the comeback and steal their third consecutive win, 123-105.
Poole led the Warriors with 29 points on 10-of-24 shooting from the floor with six assists and five rebounds in 33 minutes. Thompson continued his strong run with 23 points on 8-of-21 shooting from the field with three made triples.
Along with a highlight-reel slam dunk, Jonathan Kuminga added 16 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor in 25 minutes off the bench on Tuesday night.
Following Golden State’s comeback win over Portland, the NBA community on Twitter exploded with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Tuesday night.

An old school third quarter from the Warriors: 39-17. They’ve come from 23 down. Up five entering the fourth. Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole both had 12 in the quarter. Jonathan Kuminga had this dunk. pic.twitter.com/jSdrAj0RHv

The Warriors just outscored the Blazers 75-40 in the second half. +35. Came from 23 down for another home win. They're 25-7 at Chase Center and 12-12 in Steph Curry's 24 missed games. Overall: 32-30. This win bumps them up into the West's #6 seed.

The Mavericks just lost to the Pacers in Dallas, meaning the Warriors would somehow creep into the #6 seed at 32-30 if they win tonight. But they're currently down 20 in the second quarter at home to the Blazers. The middle of the West is a forgiving place.

Warriors wake up in the second half and defeat Portland 123-105. Damian Lillard was limited to just 6 points in the second half after scoring 19 in the first.
Jordan Poole was key during a monster third-quarter run and finished with 29 points.
Three-game winning streak for GSW.

The Warriors come back from down 23 to beat the Trail Blazers 121-105. This is tied for their 4th-largest comeback under Kerr. It's their largest under Kerr in a game without Steph Curry.
It also moves Golden State into the 6th seed in the West.

Lillard follows his 71 on Sunday with 25 on 9-for-21 shooting. After he scored 15 in the first, Warriors doubled him then graduated to a full box-and-1 with Donte DiVincenzo face-guarding him everywhere. Essentially, the same defense the Raptors played on Curry in 2019 Finals

Warriors took away Dame with a box-and-1 and the the Blazers offense collapsed.
In the first 21 minutes of second half, the Blazers totaled 33 points on 12-for-37 shooting (32.4 percent), including just 3 of 18 from 3. They pulled Dame with 3 minutes left

So much broke right for the Warriors tonight on the schedule:
Dallas lost
Utah lost
Lakers lost
OKC lost
Either LAC or MIN will loseA win tonight would be helpful, to say the least
