For the second time this week, the Golden State Warriors were dealt a heartbreaking loss on the road in the final seconds after blowing a double-digit lead in the second half.
After falling to the Sacramento Kings on a last second bucket from Malik Monk on Tuesday, it was Paul George’s turn to deliver a dagger against the Warriors.
Following a first half offensive surge from Draymond Green and Steph Curry, the Warriors captured a 19-point heading into halftime against the Clippers. However, the Warriors’ late game struggles appeared once again.
After the Warriors failed to put the Clippers away, George made them pay. With the Warriors desperately clinging to a two-point lead with under 10 seconds remaining, George pulled up from beyond the arc and drilled a stunning 3-pointer to give the Clippers their first lead of the game when it mattered most.
With time ticking down on the other side of the floor, Green’s last second 3-pointer from the corner couldn’t connect as the Warriors fell to the Clippers in Los Angeles, 113-112.
Curry, Green and Moses Moody all finished with over 20 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Warriors dropped to 9-11 on the season.
After the Warriors blew another late lead in their tough loss to the Clippers, the NBA community on Twitter weighed in with reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on social media on Saturday.

The Warriors inability to close out opponents bites them again, now blowing multiple 20-point leads in less than a week. Join me for 'Warriors Wrap Up' on @957thegame.

The warriors are embarrassing bro. How tf do you not know how to close games.
It’s one thing to get blown out every night but to go up by this much and find new ways to lose is insane.
Can’t speak for anyone else but I’m still pissed tf off pic.twitter.com/hFAfvIt4ZL

The name of the game this season.
If Steph’s able to get baskets late, we win.
If Steph doesn’t, we lose. https://t.co/9QjBbSPdAV

After Warriors blow 22p lead in loss to Clippers, here's some Paul George:
"They don’t have a rim protector. Our advantage is we have size. We have wings that can get to the basket. That’s been our game plan, to get to the rim and find shooters on kick-outs."— Monte Poole (@MontePooleNBCS) December 3, 2023
Having Draymond in corner worked against them. Russ sagged to cut off Curry’s drive
DG should’ve screened for Steph. Esp on an off night, you want Kawhi off him. Stepback is off the table vs KL’s length. (One vs Mann was halfway down)
Our put Klay/Moses in corner to deter help

Curry goes 1-for-9 shooting in the second half. Warriors manage just 45 points in the second half.
After making 12 of 22 from 3 in the first half, they went 5 of 21 in the second.

That's the second blown 20+ point lead for the Warriors this week. Clippers come from 22 down, take only lead of the game with 8.9 seconds left. Warriors continue to sputter right when it seems like they might be gathering traction. Record: 9-11. Outscored 65-45 in 2nd half.

First Clippers lead of the game comes with 8.9 seconds left. Paul George hits a transition 3 over Klay Thompson. Warriors were up 22 in the first half, 19 at halftime, four in the final minute. In danger of another blown should-be win.
