On Wednesday evening, news broke of a physical altercation at Golden State Warriors practice between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole.
According to multiple reports, the pair shared a heated exchange that led to Green striking Poole. Following the incident at practice, Green was apologetic, per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
The Warriors have not yet disciplined Green for the dispute with his teammate.
On Saturday, a video surfaced of the reported conflict between Green and Poole. TMZ obtained and released footage of Green and Poole’s altercation at practice. After the two appeared to be exchanging words, Green approached Poole, leading to the two pushing and shoving each other on the baseline of the practice floor. Green proceeded to throw and connect a punch to the head region of Poole.

Gotta get Draymond Green in the boxing ring.
— Jake Paul (@jakepaul) October 7, 2022
Beyond that being a sucka move, Draymond needs to know what he did to Jordan Poole as a man, the Warriors as a team and his own legacy! Leadership is more than holding teammates accountable, you gotta check yourself too! Carry on…

What I find funny is Mike punched a teammate in practice and all I heard was "He's so competitive" "He's a psycho winner" "I wish the NBA had more guys like that"
Draymond punches a teammate and now the whole tune switched 😂😂😂 Idrc either way but the switch up is impressive😂

Adam Silver is very pro player but they’ll be pressure to levy a suspension here. Perhaps a significant one. https://t.co/5Vh7GvHoPC

When money, media/social media and now a video that damages Jordan, Draymond AND the Warriors’ reputation is involved, it becomes more than just “brothers fight all the time”. This has both immediate and long term ramifications.

What can Draymond do to make things right? 🤔
— TheWarriorsTalk (@TheWarriorsTalk) October 7, 2022
Draymond a menace
— Flight (@Flight23White) October 7, 2022
Still unreal what Draymond did.
— Shohei Ohtani Stan Account (@AndyKHLiu) October 8, 2022

1. The league should get involved. 2. Multi-game suspension. 3. Draymond won’t be thrilled the video was leaked 4. The great Rob Adams saw it coming, Jordan Poole didn’t. https://t.co/iZhSrw3PqG

Warriors don’t practice today. Draymond Green is supposed to rejoin the team tomorrow at the facility, per Kerr. The video leak only adds to the building tension around the situation. This is a fierce swing. Everyone is fortunate Poole is fine. https://t.co/s9SJbzwGYd

All I’m saying is you ain’t responding with a PUNCH if that’s somebody you really rock with!!! Especially after a PUSH. But I ain’t in the practice and I didn’t hear what was being said so ima leave that alone but DAMN
— Isaiah Thomas (@isaiahthomas) October 7, 2022
Damn. That is a very clean KO. Poole was out. Not sure how you can keep them both on the team after that. pic.twitter.com/j1O2FOSYU9

Don’t see how Draymond avoids a suspension now.
— warriorsworld (@warriorsworld) October 7, 2022
A punch like this happened in the NBA at least a hundred times before … including Michael Jordan clocking a teammate named Steve Kerr.
What hasn't happened before is video of the punch leaking to the world … which makes this a chapter unlike any these Warriors have faced.
— Marc Stein (@TheSteinLine) October 7, 2022
draymond ran kd out of the bay, and now in his 10th year sucker punched poole. pretty frustrating if you ask me
— Chris Montano (@gswchris) October 7, 2022
Draymond tweeted Tuesday that he just interviewed Pat Bev and that the pod was dropping Thursday.
Crickets since then. Didn’t even release the pod.
New media, old media, whatever “media” you are… at some point you gotta address what you did. Can’t just go radio silent.
