On the way to their second straight loss, the Golden State Warriors lost a key member during their contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to a controversial ejection on Saturday night.
After a lengthy replay review, Draymond Green was retroactively assessed with his second technical foul against the Cavaliers resulting in an ejection. Green recieved an ejection although the review was initially based on a foul Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell committed.
Following a Caris LeVert bucket in the third quarter. Mitchell charged at Green, fouling him hard while the Golden State forward dribbled the ball up the court. Mitchell gestured towards the other side of the court, appearing to be upset about something that previously happened.
Before LeVert’s bucket seconds prior, Mitchell went crashing to the floor after Green appeared to shove the guard in the lane. While Green and Mitchell jawed at each other at center court, Mitchell’s previous foul went into review to determine whether it would be considered flagrant.
Although Mitchell’s foul was ruled a common foul, Green was assessed his second technical for his action on the other side of the court. Despite no foul being called in real time, a technical was given to Green on review.
Following Green’s exit from the floor, the NBA community on Twitter chimed in with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Friday night.

Basically, Mitchell's intentional foul gets the replay which gets Draymond ejected. That… is odd. https://t.co/sVXgYetaLT

Draymond’s inside team should be drafting a letter to the league right now. There is no other active player that would get a tech based on a play that already happened 💯

How stupid is a replay system if reviewing to see how hard Draymond was fouled results in going back further and ejecting him after the fact.
That is so stupid.

It's always strange that the officials allow Draymond to talk and yell at them more than almost anyone else, but also find ways to give him techs and eject him when it seems like a major stretch.

Draymond may be from Saginaw but Donovan attended Greenwich Country Day. He’s not backing down. Don’t mess with kids from the 203. https://t.co/unnWjcZMsN

The "Poor Draymond!" stuff has to stop. He commits so many T's that he gets away with more than anybody else – like the "Bad Boy" Pistons with personal fouls. Then we he gets called for one, he acts like a victim. It's ludicrous.

Draymond had received a tech and was begging for another.
He's gone now. https://t.co/NjWAxB3xL3

that only happens to draymond where they review a play and then double check a *previous* play that was never being reviewed lol https://t.co/4oMPXwQXl6
