The NBA announced its 2022–23 NBA All-Rookie teams on Monday, celebrating the brightest young stars in the league.
The first team is headlined by Rookie of the Year winner Paolo Banchero of the Magic, last year’s No. 1 draft pick. He was the only player who received a unanimous first-team selection. The 20-year-old forward averaged a team-high 20 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game this season.
Jazz center Walker Kessler, Pacers guard Bennedict Mathurin, Kings forward Keegan Murray and Thunder forward Jalen Williams round out the All-Rookie first team. Williams received 99 first-team votes and one second-team vote.

The second team boasts two pairs of teammates as Pistons center Jalen Duren and guard Jaden Ivey both earned a spot, same as forwards Tari Eason and Jabari Smith Jr. of the Rockets. Spurs forward Jeremy Sochan is the final member os the second team.
Smith was the No. 3 pick in last year’s draft, while Ivey was selected at No. 5.
