NBA Playoffs: A look at the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference

If the NBA’s Western Conference can only be properly described as wild, the Eastern Conference is the exact opposite.

It’s tame. It’s calm. It’s known. We know exactly where everything stands with every team in the East and we’ve known for quite some time. The Milwaukee Bucks are the best team in the conference after going on a late-season tear to lock in the No. 1 seed.

The Celtics and 76ers follow them as the No. 2 and No. 3 seed, respectively. Then the Cavaliers fall in at No. 4 and everything begins to come into place.
