NBA Finals MVP rankings: Who’s in the lead after Game 2 (Hello, Jayson Tatum)?

It’s a good thing this ranking is all about Finals MVP and not which player produces the headlines. Otherwise we’d have to end things right here and crown Draymond Green the undisputed champion.

The Golden State Warriors forward put up a respectable nine points, seven assists and five rebounds in a 107-88 Game 2 victory on Sunday, but his antics drew even more attention than his team’s overall performance.

With the series tied 1-1 and shifting back to Boston, Green is sure to take his place as Public Enemy No. 1 inside TD Garden. That just might help take some of the attention off these other players rocketing up the leaderboard.

Here’s where things stand with each team three wins away from the title.
