NBA fans are tired of seeing a sad Lakers team on national TV

My goodness, the Los Angeles Lakers are a bad basketball team.

Missing super star LeBron James due to a left ankle sprain, the Lakers are fighting an uphill battle for their playoff lives right now. Just days after blowing a 23-point lead in the second half against the Pelicans, the Lakers remain perilously close to dropping out of the play-ins with seven games left to play.

Tuesday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks was always going to be a difficult one for the Lakers, but as halftime rolled around, Los Angeles was losing big time 82-56. Yes, you read that right, the Mavericks put up 82 (!) points on the Lakers in the first half alone.

That is the most amount of points the Lakers have allowed in a half since the franchise moved to Los Angeles. That’s bad, folks! And not only that, former Laker great Shaquille O’Neal put the final nail in the coffin during TNT’s halftime show.

It’s gotten so bad with the Lakers, NBA fans are fed up with seeing Los Angeles continue to get games on national TV, especially when they put up an effort like this.
