LeBron James, a veteran of Christmas Day games since his debut in 2003, will once again take the court this holiday season. In a remarkable contrast, rising star Victor Wembanyama, born just 10 days after James' first Christmas appearance, will make his Christmas debut this year. The NBA's oldest player and brightest young talent will be key figures in the league's Christmas quintupleheader.
The lineup for the day includes the San Antonio Spurs facing the New York Knicks, a Western Conference finals rematch between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Dallas Mavericks, a storied rivalry renewed as the Philadelphia 76ers visit the Boston Celtics, a showdown between LeBron James' Los Angeles Lakers and Stephen Curry's Golden State Warriors, and the Denver Nuggets taking on the Phoenix Suns in the nightcap.
