Every now and then, a new basketball sneaker comes along that turns into be the trendy pick of the season for NBA and college players to rock as they’re swishing 3-pointers and throwing down dunks.
In the past, that sneaker is often a variation of a Jordan Brand shoe, or a signature kick from an NBA player.
This season is a little bit different. A whole lot of players are rocking the Sabrina 1s, Nike’s signature sneaker for WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu.
Nike announced that the New York Liberty guard would get her own signature shoe back in March, making her the third current WNBA player to get her own sneaker. And the kicks seem to be a hit among all hoopers, from women’s and men’s college basketball into the NBA.
