Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant will serve as the cover athlete for the next edition of the NBA 2K franchise, with two distinct versions of NBA 2K24. This is an obvious fit, given Bryant’s iconic No. 24 jersey. This latest iteration of the game has a few key features and upgrades that fans have come to expect from each annual update to the game. NBA 2K24 will be available starting Sept. 8.
This is the 25th year for NBA 2K, a massive milestone for a game that sits at the intersection of so many different cultural touchstones. Including Bryant in this celebration is an equal testament to what Bryant means to basketball.
