Just two days after the last NBA 2K23 patch, the team at 2K released another minor update to the game. Thankfully, unlike with the 1.005 update, we actually have some tangible patch notes this time, and we don’t have to rely on the community to find the minor changes. This patch comes a day after 2K warned customers that they had been hacked, and should reset their passwords immediately. We’ll give you the full patch notes here.

NBA 2K23 1.006 patch notes
This patch has been released for all versions of the game including PS5, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Here are the full patch notes:
Bug Fixes
- Addressed a bug where players were getting error codes after the jcole quest.
- MyNBA Eras rosters are now removed from Play Now.
- Addressed a bug where players fail to load various game modes.
- Fixed game crashing issues.
- Online game stability improvements.
- General stability and performance improvements.
- Other minor fixes.
Know Issues
- The bug where post hooks can green w/o releasing the stick is a known issue and a fix will roll out later.
As these notes show, this patch is mostly about keeping the game running for those who were having problems. If you’re someone who was experiencing regular crashes of any kind with the game up until now, you should be good to go. Of course, this is still a relatively minor update, so we’ll have to hold out hope that something a bit more major is in the works for next month.
