Sharadiya Navratri 2026 is nearing its conclusion, with Navami falling on Monday, October 19. On this day, devotees worship Goddess Durga, perform Kanya Pujan and offer traditional food and gifts to young girls, who are regarded as manifestations of the goddess. The ritual is an important part of Navratri celebrations in many Hindu households, with devotees completing their prayers and, according to their traditions, breaking their fast. Kanya Pujan, also known as Kanjak Puja, involves inviting young girls home, offering them a traditional meal and seeking their blessings. Here are the Navratri 2026 Navami Kanya Pujan muhurat timings, puja vidhi and rituals for October 19.
