NAVI MUMBAI: Responding to complaints that various fish species are dying in the Ramsar status Thane Creek Flamingo Sanctuary (TCFS) due to pollution, the chief minister Uddhav Thackeray has asked the state environment department to probe and take action.
Green groups had earlier complained to the state government about drastic fall in the water quality as shown by a laboratory test and the recent incident of floating dead fishes in the creek.
