Nauru President David Adeang's walkout has rocked Pacific leaders' talks as Australia and Tuvalu announced a landmark resettlement deal.

The Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) leaders meeting reached their crescendo on the remote island of Aitutaki on Thursday (AEDT) without Nauru.
