Nation's 'best bathtub' locked in for Olympic rowers

A state government will focus on the "easy" elements of delivering an Olympic rowing course in a crocodile-inhabited river after seeing off a barrage of criticism over the regional venue.

Queensland's Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie visited Rockhampton's Fitzroy River on Sunday to reinforce the government's unwavering support for the 2032 Olympics venue.
