National Oyster Week: three classic recipes from veteran seafood restaurant J Sheekey

It is National Oyster Week, and J Sheekey, Covent Garden’s famous seafood restaurant founded all the way back in 1896, is putting on a show.

Throughout August is an “oyster and sips” menu, combining the likes of Irish oysters with schooners of Guinness, and Jersey varieties with English sparkling wine. French and Scottish oysters feature too.
