Ayrshire holds its own when it comes to producing incredible food in Scotland.
From the world's best scotch pies to the region's larder filled with locally made cheeses and alcohol.
And you could argue that Ayrshire is one of the best places in Scotland to get fish and chips in.
With a coast to add to the credibility, two of the region's chippies have also retained places on Fry Magazine's Top 50 Takeaways Awards 2022.
And with it being National Fish and Chip day today we thought we'd list just a few of the best chippies Ayrshire has to offer.
If we've missed your favourite off the list, give us a shout in the comments.
