KOLKATA: The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) will hear the Peerless case between the Roy Family and Parasmal Lodha on September 21. Last week, NCLAT stayed the July 18 order of NCLT till further hearing which had inter alia directed cancellation of 30,000 shares allotted by Peerless General Finance & Investment Co in 1987.
The order of NCLT, Kolkata Bench, order had effectively changed the state of affairs that was existing for the last 30 years and would operate to take away control of the present management of the Company from the Roy family.
