James McFadden believes Seamus Coleman will play a major role in Nathan Patterson becoming a success at Everton.
Patterson signed for the Toffees in January, having earned glowing reviews for his performances with both Rangers and the Scotland national team.
However, the 20-year-old endured a frustrating end to the season. Patterson only made one start - in the FA Cup against Boreham Wood - and then required surgery on an ankle problem in April that curtailed his season early.
