Rangers academy graduate Nathan Patterson has been told he looks like an experienced Premier League right-back at 20.
The Scotland international was a key figure for Everton as they picked up a point in Saturday's 0-0 Merseyside derby draw with Liverpool. Former Reds player Danny Murphy picked the bones out of Patterson's performance on Match of the Day and was left amazed by what he saw.
Patterson departed Rangers in January and is now establishing himself in manager Frank Lampard's side. Murphy said: "Yeah, he was sensational. It was a brilliant 0-0. But this young lad, Nathan Patterson, seems to have the lot. He is only 20, he came in January, physically, he is very, very good.
