Southampton manager Nathan Jones hopes to see his early work rewarded in the Carabao Cup as he makes a belated bow at St Mary’s.

Jones was unveiled as Ralph Hasenhuttl’s successor just before the World Cup break, with the Welshman’s only game in charge to date being a 3-1 Premier League defeat at Liverpool on 12 November.
