Nate Diaz has fired back at UFC legend Michael Bisping after he advised him to avoid a fight with Jake Paul.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul picked up his sixth professional win this past weekend by winning a unanimous decision against 47-year-old Anderson Silva. Diaz was in attendance for the event in Glendale, Arizona to watch his friend Chris Avila compete, but he was booted out of the Desert Diamond Arena before the main event took place after clashing backstage with members of Paul's crew.
Diaz was called out by Paul in his post-fight interview, with the 25-year-old claiming that his rival also tried to enter his dressing room before facing Silva. After the dust had settled from the event, Bisping weighed in on the potential fight between Paul and Diaz by stating on his Believe You Me podcast: "With boxing gloves on, I don’t think it will be a good idea for Nate Diaz."
Diaz has issued a scathing response to Bisping after catching wind of his fight prediction, mocking the Brit for being brutally knocked out by Dan Henderson in their fight at UFC 100 over a decade ago.
"The only fight I ever saw by this goofy f***er," Diaz wrote accompanied by a picture of Bisping being knocked out. "Don’t hate me cause you ain’t me MB [Bisping]."
Bisping avenged his loss to Henderson seven years later, winning a controversial decision in front of his home crowd in Manchester. Diaz was likely also irked by comments that Bisping made about him being kicked out of the arena for Paul's fight, as he stated: "I'm not hating on Nate, but it's going to sound like that when I say this. Getting thrown out of arenas at almost 40 years old? Diaz is pushing 40."

Diaz was told by Bisping that he would be at a huge disadvantage in a boxing fight against Paul because of their size disparity and the weapons that Diaz would give up as a mixed martial artist in the ring.
“If he was to fight Jake Paul and at that weight, 200 pounds or 196 pounds, whatever weight they want to come in at, I don’t think it would go very well for Nate," he added.
"Nate was a tremendous mixed martial artist. The jiu-jitsu would be gone, the kicking game is gone, the general craftsmanship and the game plans and the adversity of attacks, punches, kicks, knees, elbows, strangles, chokeholds, triangles, takedowns, you name it. That’s what Diaz could do. Those are the advantages he’d have over Jake Paul.”
