Nat-Gas Prices Weighed Down by Record Warm U.S. Winter Temps

March Nymex natural gas (NGH24) on Tuesday closed -0.044 (-2.65%).

Nat-gas prices on Tuesday dropped to a new 3-1/2 year nearest-futures low and closed moderately lower as above-average U.S. winter temperatures keep heating demand for nat-gas subdued and keep nat-gas inventories elevated. Maxar Technologies said Tuesday that temperatures are expected to remain above normal from Texas to Maine through March 12.
