Nat-Gas Prices Supported by Colder US Weather Forecasts

April Nymex natural gas (NGJ25) on Wednesday closed up +0.100 (+2.30%).

April nat-gas prices on Wednesday settled moderately higher but remained below Tuesday's 2-year high. Nat-gas prices are supported by the outlook for cooler temperatures in the western half of the US, which would boost heating demand for nat-gas. Forecaster Maxar Technologies said Wednesday that below-normal temperatures are expected in the US West during March 15-19.
