Nat-Gas Prices Retreat as Warm Winter Temps Engulf the U.S.

January Nymex natural gas (NGF24) on Tuesday closed -0.060 (-2.30%).

Nat-gas prices on Tuesday retreated as above-normal U.S. temperatures are curbing heating demand for nat-gas and keeping U.S. gas inventories elevated.  On Tuesday, the Commodity Weather Group said a strong ridge of warm air across Canada and the northern U.S. is keeping temperatures warmer than normal across most of the U.S.
