April Nymex natural gas (NGJ25) on Friday closed up +0.097 (+2.253%).

April nat-gas prices on Friday recovered from early losses and settled moderately higher on a mixed US weather forecast. Short covering emerged in nat-gas futures to push prices higher after NOAA said the outlook for March 17-21 shows cooler temperatures for the West Coast, while storm systems could moderate warmth on the East Coast.
