Nat-Gas Prices Rally on Smaller-Than-Expected EIA Weekly Inventory Build

EIA Gas Prices Commodity Weather Group Nymex United States BNEF Natural Gas

September Nymex natural gas (NGU23) on Thursday closed +0.088 (+3.55%).

Nat-gas prices Thursday closed sharply higher after weekly EIA nat-gas inventories rose +14 bcf, less than expectations of +18 bcf.  A mixed U.S. weather outlook limited the upside in gas prices.  The Commodity Weather Group said above-normal temperatures would linger in Texas and the Southwest through August 12, with cooler conditions elsewhere.
