Nat-Gas Prices Post Modest Losses on a Mixed U.S. Weather Forecast

Aug Nymex natural gas (NGQ23) on Friday closed -0.006 (-0.24%).

Nat-gas prices Friday fell to a 4-week low but closed only slightly lower.   A mixed weather forecast weighed on nat-gas prices after Atmospheric G2 said above-normal temperatures are expected for the southwestern U.S. during July 19-23, but the South and Northwest will see normal to below-normal temperatures.  The mixed weather forecast should curb nat-gas demand from electricity providers to run air conditioning.
