Nat-Gas Prices Jump on Forecasts for Significant Heat in the Western U.S.

Aug Nymex natural gas (NGQ23) on Monday closed +0.087 (+3.37%).

Nat-gas prices Monday closed sharply higher on forecasts for hot weather across most of the western U.S. and Texas, boosting nat-gas demand from electricity providers to power air conditioning.   Forecaster Atmospheric G2 said significant heat will be seen in the Southwest and West from July 15-19.
