April Nymex natural gas (NGJ24) on Friday closed down by -0.024 (-1.43%).
Nat-gas prices Friday posted moderate losses on abundant US supplies. Thursday's EIA inventory report showed that US nat-gas inventories are +41.0% above their 5-year average as of March 15, the most in nearly eight years. Losses in nat-gas prices were limited by forecasts for colder US temperatures, which will boost heating demand for nat-gas. On Friday, atmospheric G2 said the Midwest and western US will see below-normal temperatures from March 27 to 31.
