Nat-Gas Prices Climb on the Outlook for Hot U.S. Summer Temps

June Nymex natural gas (NGM23) on Wednesday closed up +0.077 (+3.32%).

Jun nat-gas Wednesday rallied moderately as the outlook for hot summer weather is positive for the demand for nat-gas from electricity providers to power increased air-conditioning usage.  Above-normal temperatures are expected across the Midwest and Northeast from May 29-June 2.  Also, the National  Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) 90-day outlook projects above-normal temperatures across most of the U.S. through August.
