A NASA rover exploring Mars has discovered a bizarre bone-like structure on the Red Planet - leading to mass speculation online as to exactly what it could be.
Photographs captured by NASA's Mars Curiosity appear to depict strange protrusions from the outer crusts of the planet, which is 244.27 million km away from Earth.
