Narada Knew When to Speak and When to Stay Silent: The Word-Timing Wisdom Indian Households and Offices Ignore

The Messenger Who Never Got the Message Wrong

Narada Muni is the only figure in the Puranas who moves freely between the three worlds, Svarga, Prithvi, and Patala, and is never turned away. He carries news, warnings, and uncomfortable truths to gods and kings alike. What makes this remarkable is not his access. It is that he is trusted with access, repeatedly, because he has never delivered the right information at the wrong moment and caused ruin by accident. The Narada Purana is explicit on this: Narada does not simply know what to say. He knows the kshanam, the moment, in which a word will land as intended rather than shatter what it touches.
