Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti has revealed there has been no contact from UEFA over postponing their Champions League fixture with Rangers so far.
However, Spalletti has no issues with the matchday two fixture in Group A being move during a national period of mourning follow the passing of the Queen. The Scottish Premiership fixture card, plus all other professional matches in the country, has been postponed this weekend as a poignant mark of respect for the long-reigning monarch, with associations in England, Wales and Northern Ireland also calling off their matches this weekend.
Gio van Bronckhorst' s side were due to travel away to play Aberdeen but a joint SPFL and SFA statement confirmed earlier on Friday that the game, plus all other professional fixtures across the country, would not take place. The Light Blues chiefs are also in talks with European football's governing body over the Champions League showdown amid "policing and resource pressures".
Speaking at Napoli's press conference before the Serie A clash with Spezia on Saturday, Spalletti was asked if UEFA had contacted the club. He said: "I don't know anything, no communication (from UEFA).
"We stick to what we know and we go straight to be ready on Tuesday, otherwise we will just change. But for now we focus until this is put into practice."
