A beaming Naomi Watts and her stunning 15-year-old daughter Kai Schreiber stepped out in high-end designer style in New York last night to attend Dior's Pre-Fall 2024 fashion show at the Brooklyn Museum. It was a rare public sighting for the stylish mother-daughter duo who both wore glamorous outfits by the famed French luxury fashion house.
The Oscar-nominated actress wore a beautiful white V-neck puff-sleeve, A-line midi dress with a cinched waistband, which she accessorized with a gold statement necklace, delicate drop earrings and platform heels. Watts' look, which was hailed as the epitome of "relaxed luxury," was thanks to the magic of her stylist Jeanann Williams — her understated makeup was by Mary Wiles and her chic blond bob was courtesy of hairstylist Marki Shkreli. Meanwhile, Kai made a case for spring florals in a ladylike cream and red floral embroidered pleated midi skirt with a matching cashmere knit sweater.
The pair was at the museum to witness Dior bring its Pre-Fall 2024 lookbook to life on the runway. Also in attendance and flexing their fashion muscle in the front row was a bevy of celebrity heavyweights, including Michelle Williams, Charlize Theron, Anya Taylor-Joy, Karlie Kloss and the breakout star of West Side Story Rachel Zegler. "It's so nice to be in Brooklyn. I'm a born and raised New Yorker, so getting to live here and work here and come see beautiful fashion here is nice," Zegler, who is an ambassador for Dior, told WWD.
Watts — who was incredible playing rich society housewife Babe Paley in Feud: Capote vs. The Swans — shares Kai and her 16-year-old brother Sasha with actor Liev Schreiber. The pair, who split in 2016, has become a pinup of the modern blended family. Last year Watts married The Morning Show actor Billy Crudup and Schreiber is married to Taylor Neisen and they welcomed a daughter last year, whom Watts announced and greeted on Instagram. "I'm pretty proud of us, corny as that may sound," Watts told Porter in 2019. "We've made it our absolute priority to be good and kind to each other and we're absolutely committed to that."
