Naomi Campbell has announced she's embarking on a new business venture.
The 54-year-old who was discovered as a teenager and went to become one of the world's most famous and legendary models, is now set to make her very own superstars by snapping up some talented wannabes.
The star is joining forces with online fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing's founder Umar Kamani for the initiative called, KC Global Partnerships.
The agency will be based in the Middle East and focus on finding the big thing in not only fashion, but to existing brands to help "drive innovation and culture through partnerships between talents, brands, celebrities, industry leaders, and experts."
The agency's headquarters opens this month and is based in Dubai. "Dubai has become a global hub for talent, brands, and innovation," said Campbell.
"Throughout my career, I've experienced first-hand the power of meaningful relationships in driving success and creating opportunities.
"It's not just about who you know; it's about bringing the right people together at the right time. That's what we're doing with KC Global Partnerships, but on a much larger scale."
Campbell, who has worked with high end fashion houses such as Prada, Burberry and Yves Saint Laurent, first collaborated with PLT in 2023 to launch a 90-piece collection.
The mother-of-two said working with PLF was an empowering experience. "I have worked for years for everybody else," she previously said. "It's nice to do something for me.
"Whenever they think of working with someone, they never come to the actual models, they usually go to the celebrities..."
On Monday, September 16, the Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy welcomed Campbell and David Gandy – to Number 10 to mark 40 years of London Fashion Week.
The models attended the event at Downing Street on Monday along with designers Paul Smith, Ozwald Boateng, David Koma and Zandra Rhodes, milliner Stephen Jones and representatives from brands such as Burberry, Stella McCartney and Victoria Beckham.
