Nando's has launched three new menu items for summer this year - and fans can get them in restaurants across the UK from today.
The peri peri chicken chain teased one of its new menu items across its social media platforms last week.
Fans flocked to the posts asking if the chain was finally going to introduce fully loaded chips to its menu - which was a "Nando's menu hack" shared by fans on TikTok.
Chicken fans can rejoice as Nando's has introduced the sharing side dish to its 2023 summer menu.
The dish features Nando's chips, alongside pulled chicken of your chosen spice and covered with cheddar cheese, smokey Peri-tamer Nando's sauce and a creamy dressing - it is also topped with spring onions.
Nando's says the dish is "made for sharing" and will set you back £8.
Sadly, the loaded chips will only be available to Nando's customers in England, Scotland and Wales - as it is not yet available in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland.
Alongside the Fully Loaded Chips, Nando's is also introducing the new Pepper & Feta Dip which combines roasted peppers, tomatoes and garlic whizzed up with crumbly feta.
You get this dip with toasted warm pitta bread triangles and it will set you back £4.50.
And finally, the chicken chain will also be bringing back its 2021 guest spice - Garlic BBQ.
The seasoning has a mild spice and is "sticky, smoky and sweet with an extra kick of garlic and peri-peri".
The new menu kicks off Nando’s ‘Summer, Fully Loaded’ campaign which will also see the brand host a series of activities to get the nation "fully loaded".
The restaurant chain has not yet confirmed what these activities will be.
Fans will be very happy about the new menu launches as many have called for the loaded chips for months.
One fan of the chicken shop @simanthax tweeted in January: "If Nando’s had loaded fries I don’t think I’d eat anywhere else again @NandosUK pls"
Nando's shared this tweet earlier this week and added today's date.
In response to this tweet, Twitter user @ebzzee said: "Omggg dreams come true".
Another user added: "I’m never going to financially recover from this"
