• No affordable homes were started between April and September in five boroughs — City of London, Hackney, Lambeth, Merton, and Richmond

• Only 1,239 affordable homes were started in the first half of 2025/26, putting Sir Sadiq Khan on course for one of the lowest annual totals since 2016

• Sir Sadiq has been granted powers to lower the affordable housing requirement for developers from 35% to 20% until 2028

The London boroughs where no affordable homes are being built can be revealed.
