Denmark Women’s striker Nadia Nadim has returned to ITV's World Cup coverage following the heartbreaking death of her mum.
The 34-year-old confirmed the death of her mother Hamida last week after she was hit and killed by a truck on her way back from the gym. She was in the middle of a broadcast for ITV but had to walk out after being made aware of the shocking news.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "Words can not describe what I'm feeling. I have lost the most important person in my life and it happened so suddenly and unexpectedly. She was only 57.
