Taylor Swift was the big winner at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards but even she found herself usurped by the headline of the event: the return of N’Sync.

The boyband made a surprise appearance, presenting Swift with one of her four VMAs and performing hits at the ceremony, in their first performance since 2013 when they sang at the same event together.
