N-Dubz star says Tulisa 'is ready to return to limelight after unfair treatment'

A former N-Dubz star has said that songstress Tulisa 'is ready to return to the limelight after unfair treatment' – sparking exciting new speculation.

Speaking to Closer Magazine, Tulisa's former bandmate and ex, Fazer, has opened up about how what happened to her career "wasn't really fair".

He told the publication that his former bandmate has now "picked herself back up" because she was "never going to crawl under a rock and cry forever".

Fazer spoke of how she calls herself the Female Boss for a reason, before adding: "I think we've got great things to come from her".

Back in 2013 the singing sensation turned X Factor judge was arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs.

It happened after a string by an undercover journalist – he later went to prison for entrapment.

Tulisa had denied the charges and the case was later dismissed after the judge said they believed the undercover journalist had lied to the court.

Tulisa rose to fame in the noughties and early 2010s in the R&B group N-Dubz – a group she started with her cousin Dappy and pal Fazer.

From 2011 to 2012, Tulisa was a judge on The X Factor and ended up mentoring the Groups category in 2011, when she led Little Mix to victory.

Her success continued after and she released her debut single Young.

The track peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

In July 2014 the singer released a tell-all documentary titled Tulisa: The Price of Fame.

The documentary aired on BBC Three and garnered more than 600,000 viewers.

Meanwhile, bandmate Fazer recently hinted that an N-Dubz reunion could be on the cards at some point.

He told the Daily Star: "We never said that we would never get back together, we always said we would at some point - it's just about time."

Fazer then gave fans an inkling of hope when he said: "Right now there's a lot of sceptical stuff, but we will bring it back at some point."
