A US military transport aircraft made an unexplained landing in Moscow on Tuesday, triggering questions after neither Washington nor the Kremlin offered a reason for the flight.
Flight-tracking data showed a US Air Force Boeing C-17A Globemaster III arriving at Vnukovo International Airport just after 10 a.m. local time. The aircraft had taken off from Riga, Latvia, around two hours earlier, according to data from FlightRadar24.
