A mystery cordon next to a pharmacy and hairdressers has been in place for days.
Police have remained at the scene outside a property on Pilch Lane in Huyton for around four days. It is next to the Rowlands Pharmacy and Thatchairs hairdressers.
When the ECHO approached Merseyside Police for comment, a spokesperson for the force said it "relates to an ongoing investigation". They added police "won't be releasing any further details at this time."

Photos of the scene from Thursday, August 31 show a police van and a cordon in place, where two officers also remained. One person, who lives just off Pilch Lane, told the ECHO no one "has a clue" what has happened.
Speaking to the ECHO, he said: "I drove past a few nights ago and noticed a police car outside Chans and some tape surrounding one of the doors next to the shops. I thought they might have stopped for some of the barbecue chicken balls because they're so good.
"But then I drove past a couple of days later to see they were still there. It all seems a bit strange because they were still there again at half 11 last night. Nobody seems to have a clue though."
