A mysteriously abandoned caravan has sparked a hunt for its owner among locals.
The caravan was left dumped in a Toby Carvery car park in North Staffordshire with clear signs of damage.
The caravan has been in the car park for over a week and multiple notices have been stuck on the windows urging the owner to move it at once.
Bosses at the Toby Carvery have said they are working with Staffordshire Moorlands District Council to have it removed, StokeonTrentLive reports.
However, locals have found the appearance of the caravan amusing, which has occupied a parking space in the far corner of the car park for more than a week.
A Facebook group called "The Plough Caravan Club" has been created with more than 100 members already signed on.
Members have now been asked to come up with a creative group name
Some suggestions include 'Caravany McCaravany McCaravanyface' and 'Toby Retreat'.
So far the most recent name for the club has been ‘Tobi The Towing Caravan Of Love’ Fan Club', the name they have coined for the caravan.
Locals in the group said they are sad to hear the caravan will be moved very soon and even offered the chance to say a final goodbye.
One user commented: "I think we should all go to her later and have a toast before she departs. We are currently going through some tough times at the moment but somehow I think she has put a smile on our faces."
While another jokingly said: "Oh no. what about tonight's bookings", supposedly joking that the caravan had many bookings and visitations planned.
So far the council has not announced the date for the removal of the caravan.
