A mysterious pyramid, which is the final resting place of a renowned civil engineer, is surrounded by myths and legends.
Situated in the middle of the graveyard of St Andrew’s Church in Liverpool is a 15-foot-high pyramidal tomb belonging to William Mackenzie.
Legend has it that Mr Mackenzie, who was an avid gambler, lost a bet with the devil and lost his soul in a game of poker - and on his death he would descend to hell.
