A mum was left stunned after spotting a giant unicorn-shaped cloud over her daughter's riding stables.
Olivia Harris, 46, saw the cloud while chatting to a friend at the stables near Hertford, Hertfordshire, on June 26.
She pointed the mythical-shaped cloud out to her friend who quickly took a snap of the fluffy apparition.
Her daughter Nicole Sippitt, eight, also took photos of the mythical-shaped cloud before it disappeared.
Striking images of the unicorn show a clearly defined head, nose, mouth, ear, trademark horn and long flowing mane.
The mum shared the image on Facebook where she's received thousands of likes and comments.
Oliva, from Enfield, North London, said: "The weather that day was blowy so I think that's why all the clouds came over, it was really windy.
"It was late afternoon and I was sitting with my friend having a chat about life and I just looked up and I said 'there's a unicorn in the sky' and we took photos.
"We've got a pony and it was over the stables, my daughter was further up the yard and took photos of it as well.
"The whole face and the horn coming out of its head makes it look like a unicorn, it even looks like there's a wavey mane behind it.
"If you look closely it even has an eye and an ear pinned back. I just think it's fun."
Many on social media thought the picture was mystifying while others speculated that it had been manipulated.
Olivia said: "It's just something lovely that nature's provided. I'm a bit of a sucker for things like that.
"We weren't the only ones who saw it, there were a couple of other girls riding up there who saw it too.
"So when people say it's Photoshopped, it's not. It's 100% legit, I haven't got time for Photoshop - I haven't got the app, I wouldn't know where to start."
Olivia posted the picture on Facebook, alongside the caption: "Saw this cloud in the sky yesterday... Can you see it??"
