A series of mysterious drone sightings over a New Jersey military research center have raised concerns and questions about their origin and purpose. The base commander of the Picatinny Arsenal, Lt. Col. Craig Bonham II, confirmed the sightings but stated that the drones are not affiliated with their activities.
According to reports, Picatinny Arsenal has documented 11 confirmed sightings of drones in the area since November 13. Additionally, there have been seven other reports that could not be verified or were identified as regular airplanes.
The sightings of these large drones have not been limited to the military research center, with reports emerging from various parts of the Garden State, including near President-elect Trump's Bedminster golf course. The drones have also been observed in proximity to other military research sites.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) was first alerted to drone activity on November 18 in Morris County, located approximately 2 miles north of Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in Somerset County. Witnesses have reported seeing the drones flying overhead on a nightly basis, sometimes in groups.
The source and purpose of these drones remain unknown, prompting concerns about potential security risks and unauthorized surveillance. Authorities are actively investigating the sightings to determine the identity and intentions of the drone operators.
