Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett left the game against the New York Giants during the second quarter. Garret went to the medical tent for a brief moment before exiting for the sideline. Garrett has a calf injury and is questionable to return. Garrett injured his calf when Giants’ offensive tackle, Andrew Thomas, jumped on Garrett’s back during a pass attempt. Thomas was called for a hold on the play.
The reigning defensive player of the year is battling two foot injuries. Garrett told reporters the injuries stem from a surgery he had in his childhood. Garrett is trying to play through the injury but hasn’t ruled out surgery.
Garrett is trying to repeat as the defensive player of the year. He has two sacks and two forced fumbles on the season. Garrett has returned to the Giants game as a third-down pass rusher. The Cleveland Browns are currently losing to the Giants 7-14. The Browns defense will need to step up to help the team win.
