Myleene Klass made a surprise reappearance on The One Show on the BBC to promote her latest book, despite previously claiming she would never return to the programme.
The Great Yarmouth-born 44-year-old, who is a former member of the pop band Hear’Say, presented the tea time show with Adrian Chiles in 2007.
However, the mum-of-three left after unexpectedly going into labour a month early with her first child, Ava, with a replacement drafted in to cover her hosting duties.
She was back on the familiar sofa on Monday May 9 to talk about her upcoming book, They Don’t Teach This At School, and she looked great in a zebra and leopard print dress.
Current host Jermaine Jenas was on hand to ask her about her time fronting the show, when she was heavily pregnant.
He asked: "Is it true that when you hosted The One Show previously you went into labour with your first child?"
She replied: "Yeah I went into labour after presenting The One Show dressed as Elvis."
There has been speculation over the years that Myleene could possibly front the programme again, but she has always dismissed the rumours.
She previously told the Metro: "There is no way I’m going back. It was such a spectacular exit that I don’t think I could ever match how spectacular it was with an entrance!"
She has also a 10-year-old daughter called Hero, with ex-husband Graham Quinn, as well as a two-year-old son Apollo with fiancé and fashion PR guru, Simon Motson, 47.
Myleene is also step-mother to Simon’s two children from a previous relationship.
The singer-turned-presenter, who is a keen amateur astronomer, managed to shock co-host Alex Jones with some bizarre parental advice during her appearance on the show, revealing how she organises regular fire drills with her children, something her father used to do when she was young.
She said: "We make a game out of it, I put blindfolds on them.
"From working with charities you hear terrifying stories about children who don’t know what to do, who hide under their bed or in a cupboard. What am I going to do if things go wrong."
Myleene has also been open about her views on normalising breastfeeding and in April, she had her own breastmilk made into a gemstone ring.
She uploaded a video of the ring-making process to her Instagram account, with the caption: "Turns out there’s a gem more precious than diamonds."
